![]() Tell-Tail's The Heart Won't Lie (Lara) is Rocky's half sister and a Star in her own right! Lara took first place and Best of Opposite at the Greater Racine Kennel Show on Sunday, August 8th. She was Best of Opposite to her brother's Best of Breed on Saturday, September 4th, but showed him up on Sunday, when *she* took home the Best of Breed Honors! ![]() Tell-Tail's Rock Star (Rocky) has now retired from the show ring.. but did a nice job during his career. He won his first points from the puppy class, with a Winners Dog, Best of Opposite, at the Little Fort Kennel Club Dog Show of Waukegan,IL on Friday, June 11th, 2004 under Judge Lester R. Mapes. He took first place in the Cudahy Kennel Club show on Saturday, August 7th, 2004. The photo here is of his first place and Reserve winner placing at the Greater Racine Kennel Club show on Sunday, August 8th, 2004. And Rocky was named Best of Breed on Saturday, September 4th,2004, by Judge Mrs. Patricia Leakey Brenner and Best of Opposite by Judge Marjorie Martorella on Sunday, September 5th,2004, both at the Kenosha Kennel Club Shows. | All of our dogs have annual eye exams and have their OFA done at two years of age. Thyroid testing and other necessary blood work is also done. | |
| We love the Sable color, too, and look forward to the day when all Cocker colors will be allowed in the show ring, judging for beauty and brains, not the "who" on the other end of the lead. |
