Lexi is an amazingly beautiful girl, black sable with red undercoat, sired by Moonfyre's Hazelnut Mocha Java (Danny). His dam is Moonfyre's Whiskey Girl (Rosie). Lexi makes California her home now and has settled in nicely.

Bailey's "Mom" Annmarie sent along updated photos and this note in May, 2007:

She's a pretty girl, about 24 pounds now, hopefully she's done growing! She's settling down a bit from the puppy stuff, I can tie my shoes now without her help but she's still a strong willed pup! She's a happy dog and doesn't do naughty things to be bad, she just wants to do whatever she feels like because it's fun!
So she keeps us laughing with her funny mannerisms and forward ways. It's hard to discipline when you are cracking up with laughter.
But she's a good girl. Just not an angel! She's pretty special to us.

Here is an earlier update from Annmarie from 2006:

Just wanted to give you an update on the pretty Miss Lexi. We went to a huge Cocker Spaniel party in Pismo Beach last weekend - over 100 people and 50 cockers! Lexi was one of the best temperamented dogs there. She greeted every human and dog with enthusiasm and friendliness. Even the grumpy dogs didn't faze her. You should be very proud of the great socializing you did with her. Everyone wanted to know who her breeder was!

She was the star of the show and one of the most beautiful dogs there. Actually, since she isn't gawky or awkward looking, many folks thought she was a miniature cocker. I had to explain that she was only 4 months old, that's why she was so small! Her legs are getting longer.

Annmarie also writes Isn't she pretty? We have to agree!

See her pedigree.
